Huge value from Chase points
I almost always use my Chase Ultimate Reward® points by TRANSFERRING them to Hyatt. Here are some of the amazing properties I’ve stayed at recently using this method:
- Andaz Papagayo in Costa Rica
- Park Hyatt New York City
- Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach
- Hyatt Regency Maui
BUT, I’ve also used my Chase Ultimate Rewards® points for flights!
- Last year we transferred points to Aeroplan/Air Canada to book Asiana Airlines flights home from Japan
- This year we transferred points to Aeroplan/Air Canada to book Turkish Airlines flights home from Africa

Combining Chase points
Did you know that you can combine Chase points with people in your same household? So if you have a young adult at home, this would be a great option to get them and you’d be able to combine your points. To combine points, you’ll call Chase and ask them to LINK (NOT combine) your accounts. Once your accounts are linked, you’ll be able to transfer Chase points.
