Am I Eligible For This Card?
One misconception is that you can not have THIS card and the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card at the same time – That is NOT true! You can have BOTH.

Not eligible for new welcome offer if you’ve earned a Venture X bonus in the past 48 months

Not eligible for new welcome offer if you’ve earned a Venture X or Venture bonus in the past 48 months

Not eligible for new welcome offer if you’ve earned a Venture X, Venture, or VentureOne bonus in the past 48 months
💡 In short: Moving up is the best strategy for welcome offer eligibility:
VentureOne → Venture → Venture X
You also need to space Capital One personal credit card applications by minimum 6 months apart.
And a caveat regarding earning referral bonuses… if you refer a Venture card to someone that already has a Venture card (for example, they have the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and you refer this card) you will not be eligible for a referral bonus.
* If they already hold a Venture card – sadly referral bonus is a no go 🙁
